This four-hour Mental Health First Aid England course provides any Youth Mental Health First Aider or Youth Mental Health Champion with updated knowledge of mental health illnesses and supports. A comprehensive resource manual is provided at this course.
Learning takes place in two manageable sessions through presentation, discussion and activity. Delegates leave with their own course manual.
Course Content
- Maintain knowledge, awareness and skills of mental health support current
- Update knowledge of mental health influencers
- Practice application of the Mental Health First Aid action plan
This Refresher course is suitable only for people who have completed the Youth Mental Health First Aid England: two day course. A Refresher course is recommended to be taken every three years.
